We are pleased to offer AUTHENTiC Leather U.S. MiLiTARY Patches, for your A-2 or G-1 (or other) MiLiTARY jacket, for your collection, for framing, or to honor a loved one or friend who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces!!!
Produced by one of the leading artists and recreators of U.S. Leather MiLiTARY patches for the last 30 years, using authentic methods, designs and materials that the U.S. Navy and Army Air Force did during WW2, our artist has made thousands of leather U.S. Military Patches for WW2 aces, collectors, loved ones of Veterans, and active U.S. Military Personnel who want the best and most accurate and authentic work on their jackets!
From his own library of 1000s of authentic designs, our U.S. Military patch artist also will make a leather patch from authentic designs you may provide, full size on a color Xerox, from a patch you or a loved one wore, or one you want in your collection that you have seen in a photograph, or from a book such as the bible of flight jacket Militaria, ‘American Flight Jackets’ by Maguire and Conway.
My love of U.S. Leather Military Patches, their history and their use on A-2, G-1 and other classic U.S. Military leather flight jackets, brought me to perhaps the best recreator and current producer of Leather U.S. Military patches, and he is now making these for us. Leather is the first and best choice of material for patches in WW2, and to this day. And it looks, and holds up, as great as your jacket.
A dear friend gave me an authentic VF-3 Felix the cat (carrying the bomb, see below) felt-embroidered patch. It was beautiful, but I knew it would never hold up, nor match the beauty, of my G-1 jacket. Only leather could be as authentic, and beautifully durable, as the U.S. military leather jacket it was to go on. Through much research, I found the artist who produces for the true collectors, and former WW2 aces and pilots when they want an authentic leather military patch.
Two samples of the work is shown below, a WW2 Seabees patch, and the U.S. Naval fighter group patch that brought me to the world of patches, the VF-3 Felix and bomb patch. This is the original design, from the WW2 ‘Fighting Three’ VF-3 group, a design that is arguably the most popular of all WW2 U.S. Military leather patches, or patches period. It has been copied and used by proceeding U.S. fighter groups from the VF-6 to the VF-31, into the jet age. Felix rules!
But remember, we can produce any design, though size and complexity may add to the price. Our normal patch is regulation 5 to 6" (current day patches are just over 4"). Price for our standard U.S. Military Leather Patch is $75. Premium leather is used, along with the finest oil based paint pigments, and the same process of sculpting the design into the leather prior to filling in with paint, is used as it was in WW2!
These patches are as durable as the originals from WW2, which are still on many jackets today. However, many collectors have put our patches under glass behind a frame alongside documents or signatures from pilots and aces from WW2, Korea, and other actions.
Just one quote from our artist to give an idea of what type of work he does: "One veteran was nearly in tears when I sent him his patch, he had been trying to find an original and you know how hard they are to find...he called me and I could tell it was all he could do to keep from crying on the phone. It really makes it worthwhile when you get a call like that!"
Need we say more? Turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks.
Whether you wish to kick around with one of our classic vintage milspec U.S. Military leather flight jackets (just look through our site to find one), or you are spending a $1000 for an accurate WW2 high-end authentic replicated jacket, you can’t do better than put one of these patches on your jacket.
BELOW, along with two samples of his work, is another by our artist: a framed famous 'Joker' leather patch, design from WW2, signed by a member of the squad and POW of Stalag Luft 1, and framed by a major collector!
Just contact us at michael@casablancawatch.com, we'll discuss the design for your patch, cost, and then we'll send you a form to easily pay using your credit card with Paypal (no, you don't have to be a member, and it's SeCuRE!), or we can accept other payment options.

SOLD 70s BiG SOViET DiVER OriGiNAL 58mm USSR BOX/Papers! NOT a CURRENT- Made REPLiCA

SOLD
This is NOT the FAKE ‘USSR’ SOViET BiG Diver flooding ebay, and elsewhere on the net. Those have the same case style, size and movement of OriGiNAL Vintage models, BUT the current-made replicas are just that, made in 2008 and 2009. Made to look like the now RARE BiG USSR-marked SOViET DiVERS that were actually made in the 70s for REAL Soviet Military Divers.
The newer, FAKE ‘USSR’ models are made in current-day Russia. They have more embellished dials (falsely stating ‘CCCP’, Russian letters for USSR), and ornate bas-relief medallion casebacks. The movements are the same caliber, but made today, not quite the BULLET-PRooF Rugged movements that were manufactured for actual Divers, rather than to sell as false Vintage watches on ebay.
This ACTUAL 1970s SOViET USSR BiG 58mm case (without the HuGE screw-on crown) was purchased by me as a collector piece in 2005, and the original Soviet papers are filled out with that as the date of sale from the company that purchased the remnants of these from the Russian Govt. after the fall of the Soviet Union.
There is NO current-day ‘Medallion’ on the caseback as have the current replicas. All it has is the simple and spare Original Issue number from the Soviet Government. The dial is the Original, cleanly stating CCCP (Russian cyrillic for USSR), NO trendy 9 o’clock position second hands. NO second hands at all, as the Originals were spare and rugged with only an hour and minute hand.
The 70s Original BiG Soviet Military Diver watches are reputedly more ruggedly built than today’s, which are made for collecting and selling on ebay, not real diving. They are true relics of the Soviet era, more rugged than the current-day replicas, but with a slightly rougher finish at times.
Compare the pictures of this Original BiG Soviet USSR/CCCP Military Diver with the current-day Russian replicas on ebay, and you will see the authentic differences. Purchased for $185 new by me in 2005, the REAL 70s Vintage pieces are now going for over $300 on websites specializing in the REAL DEAL (CLiCK Here to see).
This piece is UNUSED in the Original blue box with all original papers, presentation pillow, large Dive strap, and the metal grate made to protect the thick glass from impact during dives. Unlike the current made replicas, this has some small spots of aging on the original dial. No doubt this is a TRUE Vintage BiG SOViET MiLiTARY 70s Diver! Fifteen-jewel original bullet-proof movement. If you plan to use this, note that it hasn’t been serviced since manufacture so will need a servicing. However, this is a heavy piece, if you do use it you might prefer to have it as your desk clock!
Originally purchased as a collector’s piece, this BiG 70s Soviet CCCP/USSR Military Diver is now at over $300 for real vintage versions, and $190 or more on ebay for the current-day replicas. I’m letting this one go, UNUSED with the original blue box, papers, huge dive strap, glass protecting grate, for a steal. Just trying to move some pieces I no longer have space for. It won’t last, so why not be the one who snags it ; )

SOLD! The ROAMER vintage classic SwiSS Mechanical Manual wind 17-jewel watch with the famed Incabloc shock resistance system! A New Old Stock (ya, never worn!) ROAMER vintage watch, fully Swiss-made with a beautiful creme offwhite Starburst dial (hard to catch in a pic but we shot it from a three-quarters angle to show it best we could).
This vintage Roamer watch has that classic ROLEX round, clean case style that was on the way out going into the mid-60s (well, Rolex had the sense to stick with a good thing!). This vintage Roamer piece is circa 1962, give or take a year. And it’s beautiful. The high grade Roamer in-house MST watch movement will last a lifetime, and give superb time doing it.
The condition of this Roamer vintage watch is phenomenal. This Roamer does not even have the normal small marks of storage. After close to 50 years. This Roamer's back still has some of the painted purple protective coating/film on it used by Roamer, Omega and other high grade companies in the 60s for new timepieces. It will wear off completely with use or can be fully removed now with solvent. This Roamer SeaKing watch's back does not have marks on it, but rather the purple protective coating which wears off quickly, or can be removed. Just a sign that this Roamer watch is caught in a time warp going back to the Kennedy Administration...and it is in New Condition.
The heavy Chrome case has no marks on it, and looks beautiful. This ROAMER SeaKinG is about the same size as a Rolex Perpetual from the same period, 35 mm wide including chunky thick crown, and 40 mm long lug tip to lug tip.
A New Roamer SeaKing vintage watch! Yowee Zowee! Really a great collectible that says JFK, New Frontier, Innocence...a style and feel of a lost and quieter time, before the 60s began to unravel. Note that the thick heavy chrome such as on this Roamer Seaking will last a lifetime as long as occasionally wiped with moist tissue or soft cloth to remove perspiration (as should be done with steel cases that can pit as well if left uncleaned).
This is a NEW OLD STOCK Roamer. Working perfectly. Since it hasn't been serviced since manufacture, we do recommend a servicing it this will be worn much, rather than just added to a collection. If you need a local watchmaker consult NAWCC.ORG for one near you, or we can also provide servicing at a wholesale price if desired.
Comes on a classic new leather strap with matching steel buckle. Some very slight aging on the original hands.
